The art style is simple yet suitable for the type of ad
And the music reflex the message
My only problem is I can HEAR that it's self recorded (but thats just nitpicking)
Makes me want a cup.

it looked really simple and easy to make.
but it was a good ad.
the list took a little long.

i think your peace sign was a mercedes logo?
i dunno.
also i think the "drug" aspect was capitalized when you were listing how coffee makes you feel.
i could have replace coffee with weed and it would have worked.

Also, it is part of advertising to tell the audience how to feel I guess. Plus, if you knew the store, it is very "homey" and they will do there best to let you feel loved and cared for. Learned a lot of interesting things like that from this class. Thanks for the input.
the other was better
i like this one, and your friend has a magnificent voice for voice overs, so you got pretty lucky on that one. the guitar work was great as well. but this one didn't seem to stand out as much, especially given that the other had so much more going on, a lot that stood out and was dynamic. this not so much. plus, the direction was a little TOO simplistic. i like the minimalist approach, it is very aesthetic and eye-catching, but this was too minimal, i needed more to happen. anyway, for what it is, i like it, a short ad for a local coffee shop. it gets the job done, but i think you can improve, especially given what you've already done previously.

..a little uninteresting. also, the peace sign is upside-down, and a few of the other icons float off of the stage. i really like jittery animation and the "steam" coming out of the cup!
Very simple.
It's not mandatory that an ad be complex, flashy or etc. in order to be effective. However, it seemed like this needed something else. I liked the narrator and the entire format presented. Yet, it would have been interesting to see some additional colors or maybe 10-15sec more material. Again, I'm not trying to hold the simplicity against the author. I swear that if you were to take out coffee, and add some form of insurance, this would work.
