Reviews for "Ghost Guidance"

It was short but original and fun

The only problem with the bossis game is that it was very short and the boss at the last level was very easy compared to the other bosses otherwise, it was a very fun game

it is... alright

needs an upgrade system for one, and needs to bit a trab bit longer and since ur just hacking the system, why would people know that the ship has been infected?

Too short

I thought it was pretty good, but way too short and not enough potential for infecting, make a sequel with more enemy types and it'll be way more fun.

Interesting idea *SPOILER ALERT*

PRO: The infection idea is excellent and your ship designs were unique in that I don't think I've ever seen anything like them before. The game was fast faced and played smoothly enough with only one bug I found but more on that in the next section. Overall it was enjoyable to play.

CON: More ships, more weapons! It's great to be able to take over a ship but when you're limited to 5 varieties, three of which are very similar, you lose interest very quickly. This game was also very very easy. 5 minutes to play at best with no replay value. A stronger story couldn't hurt either. The end was very Deus-Ex in that these crystals just appear and the game ends.

wayyyyyy too easy

Step 1. Get the little ship
Step 2. Hold A
Step 3. Win Game.

I gave it 10 stars for concept... then subtracted 4 for the utter lack of difficulty/challenge/game.

Constructively speaking... there needs to be more than 3 hazards (red balls, other ships, and shittily guided missiles). Additionally... the bosses were hands down just not up to par with space shooter bosses. I was growing sleepy, usually sitting in the same spot just holding down A until it died. The last boss got my hopes up that I might get to see some Gradius-III bouncing laser action... but no. Just more, slow-ass red balls. I spent more mental energy imagining what the boss would look like in a 3d world than I did actually thinking about my survival/path... because I basically just sat still holding A the whole time.

The energy should deplete faster, making a slim chance that you actually die. I mean... if you ever played space shooters, the game is as good as done once you have the small ship. Easy to avoid stuff, high rate of STRAIGHT fire (diagonal shot and guided-by-retards missiles are lame)... you win.

Anyways... I'd love to see a sequel that has that all important aspect of a video game... CHALLENGE.
