Reviews for "LARRY: Doug-Out"

Nice idea but...

I'm with everyone else, you ramped up the difficulty too fast. After about day 5 you're spending 50% or more of your time beating on Doug. Slowing Doug down some more and making the weapons cheaper would probably be a good start.

Great game.

Just needs some tweaking. There's some actually beneficial glitches in this game that cause you to just get more money than you earned. Unless this is some kind of "tab paying" function?

Also, you've already heard all that's wrong with Doug. But I can say that Doug actually encourages you to get faster. I'm stuck here playing with a mouse pad, though, so I can only go so fast.

Hmmm. It's cool

I like the idea and everything, But it just needs a little something added to it... Seems kinda plain atm, Still pretty decent though!

With everyone else on this.

This game starts out promising and it's fun at first, but once you get 6 or 7 days in it slowly starts to become impossible. Doug winds up taking way too long to kill, taking all your stock if you do a poor job of killing him, and taking a huge chunk of your business day even if you get him every time. This becomes even more annoying since there's a huge delay in your attacks, which often causes you to miss even if you were extremely quick in clicking on Doug. Before long Doug is causing you to make way too little profit to upgrade, then you're struggling to even keep stocked. Doug needs to be slowed down, and killing him needs to either take a lot less time or the clock should stop ticking while you're dealing with him. If you can fix those, you'll have a good game on your hands.

Doug ..

I managed to get to day 81, and accumulated a grand old score of 26,000,000 points .. Let me tell you some things about Doug ...

One, Doug is endearing.

Two, Doug knows all.

Three, Doug is Ninja

Four, Doug becomes irritating fairly quickly when he develops a harder skull, and is now synonymous with hate.

Five, Doug develops the Troll Curse and regenerates horrible mutilation within seconds.

Six, Doug knows no remorse.

Seven, Doug knows no respite.

Eight, Doug ALWAYS knows when you have ale left.

Nine, Doug ALWAYS knows you buy either two or three kegs.

Ten, Doug is no longer annoying because he's got you too scared to buy more than two kegs now.

Eleven, Doug has become a distant memory.

Twelve, fast moving white gloved hands are now synonymous with hate.
