Reviews for "LARRY: Doug-Out"

Why doesn't someone just kill doug?

This is a good game- great art, fits with the Larry series, McSweeny is funny, and the music is really fitting :)

However, there's a thing that ruins this experience. It's called Doug. I get that the game is about beating him up whilst trying to sell ale, it's just that there's so much twirling of weapons involved (as a review below put it) and I was madly clicking doug, but Mcsweeney sometimes didnt do anything. I could only hit doug if i clicked a sweet spot (roughly his middle tooth).
I'ma lairy irish bartender with a plank of wood. I dont need a sweetspot.

Slow...

It's a fun game to play, but if you happen to have a tiny bit of lag, somehow you end up dead while Doug the Dumb Drinker pops out of the barrels at the same speed.
You spend more time dealing with him, loosing money then you can actualy SELL drinks.
Another point is; why, WHY does he sounds like a retarded indian bloke when he says that nothing to do with the game line "don't you wish.."? He suppose to be IRISH, not try to sell of a fake indian accent.
Another point of interest: why that jump before hitting Doug? It costs time, and if you happen to have to beat at the other end, you'll never get there in time for a skullcrack... loose the jump AND the lag on getting your melee weap ready. can't he get it while walking back to the back =|
All and all a relatively good game, but i've seen a lot better.. like 'wack the weasel' irl...

cool

ths is an adictive game keep up the good work

Uh, no.

Not fun enough.

Cool concept, fun at first, but gets irritating, and starts to feel lik a choor.

I loved it

Maybe it's just me but I love these type of games, reminded me of the bar minigame in fable 2, it's a shame money is easy to get and useless in that game. I like how you took it a step further by letting the player manage their stock and buy upgrades, fable3 should consider things like this.
