Addicting!

This game is so effing addicting. I've been playing it for 2 hrs now. It could've been better if there was a boss, or if the char already reached 30, he should not be getting any share with the LP. But aside from that, this game is the best!

Needs a Manual Save point

You need to make a save point. and while the battle system is good, i would like to be able to control and move the different characters to other location, other than have them cluster around one enemy (and if you already had that in the game, i suggest you make a simple tutorial for the folks.. like me, who need a huge billboard telling us what to do.. optional billboard mind you) other than that. I LIKE IT lots of potential here :D

Fun, but broken

Fun game, and I can see a lot of playtime with it.
Perhaps the trophies could be allowed to give a small bonus (+1% gold, +1% mana, etc) to make them more useful.

"The apprentice" shows up rather often, which is annoying if you're trying to progress. The enemy pathing is pretty horrible though, I was lucky enough to get a level with a U shaped water, where the apprentice got himself stuck and unable to reach my group. "One" ranged caster was able to take him down over the course of an epic 30 minute battle, shooting 27-28 damage bolts at him.
She, being only level 6 or so, was able to go Straight to level 30, and her fellow students gained 6-7 levels as well.

That... seems rather (fun, but) broken. You can check my trophies as proof.
Anyhow, keep it up :P

Trading characters for points?

I really like everything about this game, except the point of it.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong (I haven't played it... y'know... to exhaustion) but I'm supposed to spend time levelling characters in order to trade them for points?

Don't get me wrong, the presentation, the interactivity, the music, all excellent. Vivid, slick, retro-gaming with a kawaii-twist... all great!
I just don't get why I'm encouraged to throw away a character every four turns for nothing more than points that only extend the game.
Seems like the general choices are either:

-fail to get enough fame and eventually lose-
or
-endlessly level a sequence of new characters-

I'd play this til my eyes bleed, if only there seemed a point. I just don't WANT to throw away characters (=my time) in order to do something as mundane as carry on playing...

Can't fault the rest of it though. Beautiful game.

Cool.

I love the music and interface. There isn't a good balance, it's easy just to have a DPS controlled and roll especially with the simple AI.

Sorcerer's are incredibly powerful even at a low grade but their HP is not really low.
Mirage Caster's don't heal much, I was surprised by their DPS, since they are supposed to be a healing class.
Gunslingers are kinda weak. Their range or DPS isn't really big enough and they have no skill.
Duelist's and Dragoon's are pretty close in terms of tanking and DPS but Duelist's move way faster.

The Principal intervention, I'm not that keen on. Reducing action time by half is too powerful, whereas mana regen isn't so useful because I found mana not a huge problem, although it's good if you use a Magiknight as tank. Even though it is random, I don't really agree with a huge buff.

More challenging fights - I beat the Tournament without any level 30 pupils. Near the start hard quests are displayed when the player isn't ready, which can make it impossible to complete a mission. More missions and errands would be cool too. A change of scenery and music is always nice as well! And it would be nice if enemies weren't right next to me when I started a fight.
