So, being a kinda game expert, and I read alot about this kind of thing. Looks like there needs to be some direction in the game. There are a TON of choices for whatever anyone wants to do. All these skills that dont lead to anything should be explained in that manner. I understand that its up to the gamer to figure out how to become a hero, but add something in there for a bit og guidance. someone wants to develop their city, help; someone wants to be great at physical combat, give them guidance. GREAT backstory and everything, but like side scorlling mario goame, point people in a general direction.
This game is one long exercise in frustration.
You begin with a lot of nice screens that deliver a rather reasonable amount of exposition.
That's pretty cool.
Then you throw us into the thick of the game world. Once the dungeons have been cleared out, we're stuck doing the rote adventure things, being incapable of getting new materials, and generally having very little fun whatsoever, thanks to unending hordes of monsters that are much, much better at killing you than anyone except you are, because you're a suicidal little git.
Granted, yes, you're a f***ing 12-year-old, which explains just why your character sucks so badly.
But then why bother sending out a 12-year-old to go fix the KING'S work? Send out one of his brilliant advisors that trained you so well.
Wait, whoops.
Look, overall, the game would play okay if you'd make it better than even odds of you hitting the enemy.
As is, with 7/8 of my attempted attacks missing, my little adventurer is probably the only person who can learn how to fly; he'll jump up and miss the Earth when he tries to hit it again.

Nice...but....
I like this games, but I would love to have a unlimited week mode.
Unplayable
At the beginning there were so many stat screens i actually thought that was the game, i clicked continue the story like 20 times until it finally finished. Then i entered a battle in the first cave and bam it takes about five minutes to kill one guy. Not good guys!
