There isn't much to say that hasn't already been said by CumulusStrife and DentalBoy. I agree with what they said but my only complaint and I know it's due to a file size issue is that the screen wasn't very big. You obviously spent some time on this and showed what amazing talent you have with flash. I wish I could get the graphics as a screen saver or a visualizer for iTunes. Maybe even Newgrounds could use a new visualizer. I've seen the same ones on here for the last 6 years. I do hope to see another video like this in the future though. Good work.
Interesting-
I liked the part where the guy is watching the planets shift, and the graphics are highly impressive-
But as it is, it's just that.
Regardless, as you said, we all need a moment.
I suggest you use this video in a flash portfolio- something that will end up getting you a really good job, if you don't already have one.
I know that either of the universities in your area would scramble to have someone with your experience in flash, if you're enrolled in one. They're always on the lookout for talented programmers or web designers.
Great! But...
Lots of great effects, soothing music and visuals. It obviously took a lot of time and effort, and it shows. Everything is very smooth, and it feels very polished. HOWEVER, it fails to have any significant meaning, and is just too small to really be immersive. Sure, it's nice that the little dude is walking around and just chillin' while the work is tripping out, but why should I, personally, care? If this had has a bit of storyline thrown in to tie things together, I'd love it. But as it stands, it's like a connect-the-dots picture without any of the lines drawn that might be too small to recognize anyway. It is beautiful, and I'm glad I watched it, but I can't help but feel like it could have been so much better.
I wish
I could have something like this as my screensaver at work. Pleasant music (upbeat and yet calming) and beautiful colors, with plenty going on to entertain you throughout.
