Reviews for "VVVVVV Demo"

Nice

It was a good game, with three major problems
A. Shortly after you meet the girl over the intercom its starts slightly pushing trial and error giving it a false difficulty. This isn't a huge deal though.
B. The controls were really weird like you cant flip in mid air,and you slide pretty bad.
C.It should be free, dude. I mean I am not gana act like I am the person who decides what you do with your game, and you have a great game here just It would make the best off as a freeware game, And since it is pretty simple I personally don't find it all that worthy to buy.
Besides these three things I loved the game though. Keep on making them dude just don't put them all up for sail :P good luck, man.

Fun, but the full version should be free

I enjoyed the demo, but I would not pay $15.00 for the full thing, no offense. I would happily donate a couple bucks to you for a good game, and I think having people donate it the way to make money via flash games.

meh

Cons:
as far as the demo is concerned, i did get the shiny object in trench warefare, but i gave up on driller, the controls are way too sensitive, i either under shot a jump by a bit, or over shot by a long shot, and the guy falls so fast there is no time to react, and before the player can figure out where he landed, he is spawned and is left confused. And $15 seems a bit steep, i do not know how long the game is

Pros:
The musical score was well written, giving a strong off beat definitely gave the loop an wasy listening repetitiveness, the constant color altering leaves the player curious on what the next stage entails. Also the creativeness of each level kept the game interesting

What I would do different
The only real flaw I found was the rapid speed of motion, I would slow down the fall rate and have a sensitivity option so the player can choose how fast the movement of the little man is

So Fun!

And so cool! I was pretending i was in one of those video game arcades again when i was 6 and I was pretty skilled at VVVVVV too. I managed to get to the second shiny trinket but not the first. (any tips or walk through videos that might help?) Classic retro Pong theme but you added trance music which makes the game more serious and it pulls you in to play more. I would've liked to have rated more but this is only the demo, I can't wait to play the full game If you post it here. :)

Controls are RIDICULOUSLY LOUSY AND SLIPPERY. The game loses 2 stars for that huge flaw.
