Great game, but would I buy it?
The game is really fun, taking platforming, and adding a twist. Sure, gravity flipping as been used before, but making it the only ability, and making it so simple with Metroid style exploration, and a nice little story behind it makes it all the more fun. However, would this be a game I would go out and pay 15 dollars for? No. I'd probably buy World Of Goo for twenty instead. Nice game, but theres no way I'm going to buy it.

You know, this was actually a pretty good game. Since I'm more into 8-bit games myself, high-end graphics don't mean a thing to me. Having a platformer where you need to switch gravity intead of jumping made it fun. I got the full version and it's easily worth the money. The Super Gravitron game is hard as hell, but that's what makes it so addicting.
Parts of this reminded me of I Wanna Be the Guy, but with an old school, ceiling walking twist to it, and it was great! IWBTG is one of my favorite games.
As for the rest of these people, stop giving bad reviews based on the full version cost and the 8-bit graphics. You don't have to buy it if you don't want, and simple graphics doesn't means it's a bad game. Games like Pac-Man and Tetris were incredibly simple at the start, now they've appeared on almost every single console on the market.
And for comparing it to console games, those are made by entire teams of people, while one guy was responsible for VVVVVV. You shouldn't compare them as if they were made by the same people.

But yea i like the music... the design and gameplay very much.. just very challenging :p
