it's....
the strategy style in the gameplay is pretty cool but the graphics, although these are certainly very nice pictures, it makes it all a bit messy, because the fractions aren't very well separated in color so it's not clear what part of the map is already under your control, i mean it is pretty clear if you just look at it, but let's take phage wars (im sorry for comparing it, but the game didn't improve this genre in this aspect) the only thing you could see on the screen were circles with certain colors, dependent on the size and shape of the circle you knew how strong your "control" is and what is it's reproduction rate. Simple and awesome. So less particles which don't affect the game (first i thought at least it can block your troops, but it didnt work that way, it only makes it harder to orientate) and if you could somehow guess the strength of the village by it's appearence would be nice.
Else I really like the idea of towers and mines this makes the game really inovative and more tactical. ...a good game.
