Reviews for "Dutamasa Battle"

4 stars since it kept me busy for a hour

yea all the characters could be better and when u get to the lord dragon u cant even beat him since he somehow goes 4 turns in a row and theres no skill customization so u cant make it easyer and the worst part of it was the stupid level limits it takes long enough to get to the certain level but like the missle silo u can get to level 20 and then the rest of the levels are worthless for it ive played better card games and rpgs that were flash

The game

This game is not really fun or really exciting in most RPG video games you generally have some kind movement or interaction. But this game seem more like a playing card game like yu-gi-oh! or MAGIC the gathering but if you are a hardcore RPG fan I guess this game maybe just right for you...Maybe

Bugged

Missile Silos are bugged. They attack me 4-5 times for one of my attacks, even when stunned, or confused attacking themselves. It goes from "strategy light" to "wild button mashing", hoping that they damage themselves enough with a bomb so you can finish them off while *hopefully* not dieing and fighting 5 training fights to get some money back.

It's annoying, and a real game breaker for me. On the first playthrough I got lucky with a silo of my own, but for the life of me I can't get it done a second time, try as I might. I got more HP, better attacks, I can stun freeze suck power and whatnot, but as soon as the enemy silo lands one of its "sun attacks" on me it goes into real time mode while I'm busy lifting my butt for a good raping.

Anyway, the many characters are nice, but most are superflous. Your XP or whatsityoucallithere goes from "bald guy with club" to "combat tank" so insanely fast that anything in between is merely for show.

Then buffs like heals, shield and hide are ridiculously strong, most offensive speels however feel lacking.

In the end it's not so much a strategy game, as once you figure out a good combo it will work 100% until you hit the silos.

Graphics, sounds and music however are nicely done and fit the game very well.

boring

nothing changes cannot beat the dragon even with lvl 25 missle what kind of crap is that

Unbalanced and overrated

The strategy in this game consists of three basic steps: step 1) spam training to level up existing cards so that they're actually useful, step 2) go into the next battle absolutely clueless as to what the next opponent is (i.e. your battle preview is dodgy at best in adventure mode, nonexistent in unlimited), and step 3) exploit the hell out of the flaws inherent in the battlecard system.

Once you gain access to the Lightning spell, 90% of what follows is just a series of one-hit-KO battles... the other 10% involves attempting to stun-lock your enemy using attacks and defensive spells that don't make the stun counter wear off. Why you can drag out a 1-round stun for 3 or more rounds while you use your buffs AND make the enemy attack itself, I'll never know. Serious points off for that exploit even being considered.

And then there's the AI with its enhanced effects and sometimes reduced cooldowns, an even better exploiter than us if not OHKO'd or stun-locked. A few notables. The paladin, with two automatically stunning skills, can place a DOT effect, replenish its HP and power, and attack several times before the stun wears off. You get about 1 round of normal combat before you're drowned under stun again and die. The gunner was an interesting one to train on, since its heal ability was capable of far more than 25%--often coming close to a full heal so as to make it nigh immortal.

Good pictures (I hesitate to call it graphics since that's all the cards really are) and a CRAPPY system. Try again.
