date: March 1, 2011Intro: (sigh) Well, long time since I haven't reviewed anything here since I became an 'inactive'. I just found out you got the greatest honor by randomly checking 'newgrounds' at wikipedia. So maybe I'm not 'updated' as I should, but maybe that's for the best, so we can see if these is dated. But enough about me and on to the review.

Gameplay : Mhm, something really intersting we have here (lol, yoda talk). We have a flash game which analyses every element of platformers and turns them into a RPG stat while remaining in its core a platform, kinda like super paper mario but digging much more into the RPG aspect.It's also really fast paced, which makes this a really fun game.
But in the end, it all feels like a regular platformer with some RPG elements, not something totally new in the market and it does have a few problems with certain jumps that are annoying and I hate how clueless you are at the beggining and of the game, I mean, I lost all 3 first game days just because the game tutorial was way too short and you couldn't know what happened in the night until you got there.
Also, its REALLY short, I know I shouldn't expect much for a flash game, but for a golden tank winner I hoped I could play it like for at least 2 days.
All in all, the game play is fairly well done, but only enjoyable until you get the whole hang of the length and the whole day night cycle. 8/10
Story: Now here is where you excelled yourself guys. While it's a simple story, it's really deep and ambigous, free to interpretaions. But that's not the best part, I just ADMIRE how the story goes swiftly with the gameplay, hand by hand. Every thing that happens inside the mind of our protagonist I feel it thanks of the control I have over her. The few emotions she has I have.
The best example? the nightmares, in these parts one can only like how one feels overpowered at first but just keeps getting more powerful until the fear has vanished. It's a well done metaphor of the training one needs to overcome fears and the unknown and the results of not doing so and the player is 100 % involved in here. It makes it pure art, making you confront the issue said in the game. 10/10
Music: Really cachy tunes we have in here, everyone having an emotion and a though put on them, what are you waiting for? At least you should put the nightmare theme in the audio portal, that by itself is worth gold, the entire soundtrack is worth diamonds. 10/10

Outro: To sum up, this game isn't really about being good as a game , for me at least, it's about showing what video games could have as interesting as an art form. Meaning that they involve the user at a deeper level and pretty much ask the user to look into themselves to find an answer to the problem. While not a perfect game, it sure is the most innovative game I have seen in NG, and that for me, is enough to deserve a golden tank
