Reviews for "Ghostscape 2 - The Cabin"

Good

If you like his game you must really try seascape.

Seascape is one of my older ones BTW ;-)

Another great Ghostscape!

I loved the first one even more, though. The classics are always the best. I must be afraid very easily because that game spooked me several times. I loved the atmosphere and the spooky feeling of the whole thing. I must admit, I am too afraid to finish it. The window scene with "You're next" scared me a bit too much. However, like the original ghostscape, I will give up and be a chicken for now but I may attempt it later. The story is such a suspenseful one! Bring more Ghostscape. Icescape is too quick and I pull my hair just trying to find things in time.

Thanks, glad you liked it!!

Solid.

A good exploration game that is fun to play, but does have its shortcomings.
I didn't really liked that you get in there, do your objectives and then the game is over. There aren't any sidequests or new objectives that you get. Plus, there are also some items that were completely useless. Which I supose are to confuse the player.
I also though that the plot fell a little short. I did found the diaries a cool 'sidestory' but the main one is not all that good. There's nothing in the start and in the end there is an explanation. Which I didn't really care about too much.
Despite all this I think you did a great job with this game. The black and white graphics and music give the game a creepy atmosphere. And due to the graphics, it is, at times, challenging to find the items.
Overall, like I said before, it is a fun game, if you can deal with the shortcomings.

Psionic games are always have respectful graphics. This part of the game is better than the first one.

A good game, with a couple of competing elements. On the one hand we have a game with an interesting story generating good atmosphere - and the game shot in black and white. On the other hand there is also a pixel hunt, especially for the lanterns and piles of dirt that do not show up well when rendered in black and white. The metal detector is a good addition, and makes that part of object finding more enjoyable.

The puzzle near the end was good, but we could have perhaps done with more things like that. Storyline is also good, and with more background given than in the first, though the ending was rather predictable.
