Great game! but needs adjustments
The game is great, the concept is great, story is great, nothing to say about that. BUT The game is too hard even on easy and for several reasons :
- You can't heal your people if you dont use the high priestess ability ( i wont talk about the absurd 5-10-15% you gain every turn, it's useless since monsters like cerberus kill you in one round anyway).
- You can't farm xp since there's no way to get extra encouters to lvl up your characters when you think you're too weak for a battle (yes i am talking about cerberus, and the bandit chief too and armlus the yetti too, all too strong for a lvl 8 party (wich is the lvl you're at when you meet cerberus) ) So you end up lvl 8 in front of cerberus wich is a lvl 14 boss en even on easy he kills your melee nera in one round (necause not only does he move twice in a round, he attacks twice in a round too!).
So the game is just too hard or not calibrated properly. Have you even tried to complete the game yourself? if you have done it, i dont know how you got past cerberus. also if you were able to defeat armlus or the bandit chief in the gold cave with a lvl 8 party, just tell me how you did it, i can,t seem to find a way not to die instantly when any of those hit me (or almost instantly, with no healing there's no difference since you can't really gain hp between rounds.).
So great game, but i can't get past cerberus even though i have 2 moon stones and the glasses to see invisible stuff (there's nothing invisible in the cerberus fight anyway...even though it says there should...).
so work on that and maybe i'll be able to finish the game and tell you how i like the rest of it.
