Reviews for "Imperium II"

Needs some work

while it is initially fun and i would love to play it with some improvements.

as mentioned in some previous reviews:

- broke when i saved it. Locked browser and upon reload. no lands, all resources undefined.
- war was not very well done. pointless and frustrating.
- need to know the value of things like upgrades and what you get for them.
- what does a palace do for you?

otherwise i like the dynamic that you have to balance your resources and so forth.
Could be a real nice game.

Bugs, bugs bugs....

After creating game (I've decided to fight with 11 opponents) only 7 appeared

Furthermore after saving and reloading game I've lost discovered units in blacksmith ;P

And the battle style is sensless...

:-(

Too many bugs.

Good roots, no finish...

First i liked it very much, but it gets pointless very quickly. I can win every battle by sending food without any soldiers in battle. the enemies run towards my boarder and disappear there.

The squares are very unfair. In some places, you can build many houses and farms, because its all bare land. Other squares are 75% water, so you got very few space to grow a big town.

The fights are chaotic. Its like trowing little stones into a pound until you can walk over it...

Please give it a Update. This could get a great game.

Not enough info. Battle system is poor. Buggy.

Tip; Blacksmithy and Academy; they are upgrade buildings; totally useless until you have ressources pouring out of your every pores. Ignore them until then.

Tip; if you can, make specialist cities. One pure gold maker, one lumber town, ect, then just trade away.

Tutorial doesnt help much.

Need more info on production current modifiers. (as in are we getting or losing ressources, i dont want to wait and see, i waant to see a green or red number next to the current ammount)

Need more info on what changes upgrading something does.

Need more info on cost of upgrades, is it the base cost of the building?

Need to know current production of upgraded buildings, i dont want to guess.

Need to know the difference between the military units, you know, when we make them, not after.

Need to know just how war works, cuz currently, it doesnt work. It doesnt make ANY sense. If my men reach the other side of the sceen... they vanish, they stop fighting. Even if i was clearly dominating.. so in order to win, you MUST outnumber the ennemy something fierce. Make it that if our guys manage to reach the other side, they get available to attack again or something good happen.. right now, its a confusing mess.

What is the point of supplies? what to they do? Is it some sort of "hp"?
Why, with my mens PAID, TRAINED, and ready to rock, i still have to wait for them to pop in the battle?I can understand some gameplay mechanic limitation, but right now it doesnt make sense.
Units are brainless morons in combat. They go foward and thats it. Some, if most of my mens just go foward and dont fight anyone, reach the other side, where they are effectively "dead" for all intent and purposes, making them a pure waste. I lose battles, when i actually lost 2-3 soldiers out of my 30-strong army.
Basicaly, you battle system doesnt work. Change it to something else. maybe make it some sort of "boardgame" of something like that, at least we can use actual tactics there.

Unit production limit; make it work by itself. If i input a wrong number, it doesnt produce anything.

Need a fask-skip-day button. The game is pointlessly slow.

Have more music.

Moving ressources from my big city to my small one doesnt want to work. It does the other way around. Fix it, i want to support my small towns ASAP, to make them grow faster.

I made a palace. Didnt see any change. Was it a waste? I dont know. Because i got no way of knowing if it actually did anything.

My money, after selling this and that, became a "Nan" value. Was it because i had too much cash? Dunno, stopped caring about the game then.

Do i need two embassies to import/export? They are horribly expensive buildings.. and just how do they work anyway? Do they transfert a X ammount per day, so its automated, or do i have to do it manually? What do they do?

So much potential, but needs more playtesting. Right now it isnt far from being a great game.
