Reviews for "Medieval Rampage 2"

Awesome!

Most flash games can not keep my interests for longer than 15 minutes, but I find myself keep on coming back to play this game. Keep up the awesome work!

Sorry man

Honestly, I thought the first game was a decent diversion. Weapon upgrades were nice, and the varied enemies were more than simple cannon fodder, but this is just frustrating. First, and my biggest complain, is the enemies, or more specificly, when the enemies die. Why does every freaking enemy in the game either explode into damaging shards, puddles of various goos, split into other monsters and who knowns what else? Dead enemies (who arn't zombies) should NOT be the biggest threat in a game. Seriously, I got up to the fire area, and I got golems exploding into shards that take like a 1/8 of my health per hit, swarming things that die and leave lava puddles and knights with tri fireballs. I feel like I'm being punished for killing the monsters trying to kill me. If I kill them, they kill me AFTER they're gone and dead. I don't kill them, and they swarm over me and kill me. That's not fun, that's not exciting and it makes this game frustrating for no other reason then because you felt the need to add everything you could. How am I supposted to get the items and money if they're ALWAYS IN DEADLY PUDDLES OF DEAD ENEMIES?! One or two enemies with that effect, alright, I can live with that. An enemy that releases puddles as it moves, that's somewhat fair too. But dead is dead, and when you have hundreds of them per stage, it's just too much.

It's a small complaint, and it goes with my first one, but health potion prices should not rise after every boss. Yes, I know that you get more money per pile in each new area, but they're not complete heals, and when money is difficult to get to, and the price keeps rising, it becomes really hard to upgrade anything when it's all going into HP pots. Keeping the price the same would be one fix, as would making them full heals.

Graphics are decent for this type of game. I'm not gonna expect the world with a top down shooter with dozens of enemies on screen at once.

Music could use some work. One song throught the whole game is a bit much. Each new area should use a new song, and not all the songs need to be rock. Call it chiche, but the ice level could have done with a nice, calm song. At the VERY least, bosses should ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS have different music. They're the best of the best, the leader of everything you've fought up to this point. Just as you've killed countles enemies to reach them, they've killed countless to become as strong as they are. They deserve their own theme. Each boss getting their own theme would be ideal, but I'd settle for one truly epic song for all the bosses (Final boss gets something different though).

Overall, this game has lost it's time waste appeal compared to the first, and the "upgrades" have reduced the game to a frustrating series of never-ending levels.

meh

it got old after a wile

Renewed faith

This game renewed my faith in flash games!!!!! Fucking amazing game!!!!! The only problem is the melee weapons, you have to get in closer. I just used the bows.
