Good, just a few big problems
I found the AI rather annoying at times. Especially with Speartons. After getting hit by an arrow, they would block and usually stop blocking then another arrow would hit them. This made it very annoying when I wanted them to go in close up early on in battles and wasted my gold.
The enemy unit production does not really make sense. At one point, no miners were out, yet a miner was being in very short intervals. My units would move from attacking the statue every time to kill it, but they couldn't attack the statue again before another one was made, meaning my ineffective arrows had to finish it off. I assumed that they gained gold at around the same speed as I.
When I was defending, I wanted my miners to retreat but not my other units, otherwise I would be left with a pathetic defence.
Moving the screen. It just is not fast enough. Also when I controlled a unit, I could not scroll without moving. It was rather easy to change to another unit or the wrong unit by accident.
You cannot make multiple saves. This is annoying because there are so many upgrades. When you choose an upgrade, it becomes permament. This makes saving almost pointless since you can restart levels. I am stopping at Free Pertland because it is just impossible as it is.
