Reviews for "Galaxy Fighter"

hmmmmm....

well i can say this the game looks very promising and will probbaly be better if you change it up a bit.i find the game can be tedious at times and a bit hard. the gameplay is fun but kind of hard to play there weren't any upgrades, ammo or health packs! like i said the game looks very promising! but can you make the game a little easier and make upgrades and items a little more existant? i would like to see a menu where you could upgrade your character and weapons. the graphics are very unique from other flash games. so please try to improve the game with more variarity maybe out upgrades and buyable weapons. it just a humble newgrounder opinion and i hope you could benfit from reading many reviews. so yeah "improve and learn" that what my teach always say!

Cool looking, but...

It had a lot of drawbacks. There were too few levels, the levels were boring and unimaginative. The enemies, while moderately varied, weren't very tough, but they seemed to be dead-accurate with their firing. I only managed to live by staying on one side of the map so I only had to dodge fire from one direction. Also, an upgrade system would be awesome. I can see a lot of really good potential in a game like this, and I think you should definitely work on it and expand on your idea.

Hope this helps

I wasnt a fan of the enemy's movements and physics of crash into you, hold you in place, and kill you. That happened a few times. plus on top of that, you have four weapons and none of them seem to even be worth it when taking on one of the later levels mobs or the first level even. The upgrades are weak. the movement is too slow to dodge 90% of the shots fired at you, and even if you could dodge more i don't think it would really improve the game. Just wasn't feeling it. Then later on I got to really love the giant mechs that would turn at 90 degrees and bast about 1/4 of the screen. about 2 or 3 of those running around makes it about cheap. Im in full agreement with jes-fest and kidgamez on how to improve. add some levels/planets/environment vs a box of instadoom and play more of the shooting games maybe to get a better grasp of what it should play like. I'm not trying to bash, just aid in construction. graphics were nice and uh... Hope to see you again with a much better improvement. Good luck =D

Needs Work. A lot of it.

The art was okay, but it was way too shiny and indecipherable, and quite frankly, it looked photoshopped. For the first 10 minutes of playing, I had no idea I had a head, nor that I was fighting human-shaped enemies.

The guns were decent, but they could've had more variety. The gameplay was shaky at best. Like others have said, there was no dodging enemy fire. I couldn't really feel immersed in the game at all.

The music sucked.

Level design was ifffy.

but to be honest, you're a whole lot better than most people on here.

Hmmm

I really hated this game for the first two levels. By the time I was like "okay this is pretty fun", it ended. Saying that, I can't believe I gave you 3 stars when I need to just report you for abuse. Thanks for fuckin up the rest of my day. I think I'll just go get fucked up now.
