Old West cowboys used Single-action revolvers that reloaded one chamber at a time. The hero used a modern-day, double-action revolver with a swing out cylinder that allows all 6 chambers to be reloaded at once.
Other than that one, minor, flaw; this is a very enjoyable short.
shut the fuck up. old west cowboys weren't how they are painted in movies in the first place. and i'm sure didnt have horse chases on trains. and didnt wear all red clothes

Superb Style
I have to say this piece is awesome, it ticks all the boxes for me. Its got a great style to it, the animation is superb and that song holds it all together extremely well. I would love to see more like this and hope you develop this set of characters into a series!

You definitely can find plenty of work done in similar styles, but to do it well is something i don't see a lot. I think its definately worth watching a second time, and even though I wouldn't call it the best animation on Newgrounds, I really couldn't give too many thoughts on how to improve it. Great animation, great music...great.
(and I love the epic credits you don't find a lot of those either)
A good Fit
The song really encompassed the story, and the animation was nice fluid and fast paced. i've always loved the 'old' westerns and i think that this flash was really entertaining and a great homage to the source material!
