Entertaining and very well made
What a great flash. The style was great, and definitely one of the highlights of it. It reminded me heavily of Samurai Jack with a somewhat grainy texture layered on top. The use of warm colors was used very well to convey the western atmosphere. While at times I thought the animation looked a little sloppy, they were so few that it's hardly worth mentioning. Most of the time the animation was crisp and clean. The synching with the song was perfectly done, and it and the animation played off each other beautifully.
Sometimes (even though it fit with the style) the flash seemed to skip a few seconds forward, such as after the first cop is shot in the bar, of after they see the train tunnel approaching. The only real gripe I have with these parts is somehow the main character manages to get by the police both times, which I'm not sure would be physically possible. Both the menu and the credits also captured the theme of the flash very well, especially the credits, which were very well put together and though out. The character designs were very entertaining, as were the backrounds. I've always been a fan of putting somewhat basic shaped characters against simple and smooth backrounds.
The shadow effects and details on the characters were minimal, but very effective. The very idea of a one legged cowboy is very entertaining, and well used within the flash. The only other complaint I have is that I thought you eased off on the blood and would have liked to see (even if they were toned down versions) animations of the three officers dying, instead of it just flashing out before they were shown. That's just a personal preference, though, and in no way takes away from the flash. Overall, wonderful, I enjoyed the entire thing so much, and have watched it multiple times. You truly went the extra mile to make this a complete package, and it was well worth it.
