Reviews for "Release"

Good song. I like the amtosphere it creates. It does indeed have a dark undertone, but surprisingly enough, this song isn't depressing or scary at all (just like you would a song with a dark undertone expect to be). I think, there's some "hope" noticeable throughout the song. Maybe it's the beat or it's the absence of a deep bassy sound in the background...

Anyway, pretty good song!

EagleGuard responds:

Thanks, the "hope"-feeling was indeed something I noted as well and was initially just a byproduct. I'm glad I left it in though!

Thanks for the review!

Have to say that I really liked this piece. Video Game music is a really interesting genre and this song is a good indicator of why that is. When I was listening I couldn't help but think that it reminded me of some of the music from Mass Effect 3. It has that kind of quality to it. I feel like it belongs in an epic battleground scene.

I can't really make any suggestions for improvement because the song is already so awesome as it is. It's just a really fantastic song.

Thanks for scouting me, by the way.

EagleGuard responds:

Thank you! I sadly haven't played Mass Effect 3, but I have heard a thing or two from its soundtrack. I'm glad you think my piece is similar in terms of quality, that's a great compliment!

Thanks for the review and your kind words :) I'm glad you enjoyed it!

(And you're most welcome regarding the scouting!)

This song was used in a music mod pack for Brutal Doom. A very wicked cool song for the struggle against hell's great summoner of Demons. Final Doom 2 level.

10/10

EagleGuard responds:

Yeah, I noticed, pretty cool stuff :) Glad you like the song!

After having listened to this song time and time again, and I can confirm that this is, not partially, but completely and entirely, lit.

EagleGuard responds:

Aight, thanks for the feedback, fam!

Good stuff. I especially like the change at 2:13

EagleGuard responds:

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
