Reviews for "Special Delivery Ep 1"

Great movie!

I enjoyed both of the characters and it was written pretty well. Good and simple animation. I enjoyed this please do make more.

Great Job you son a B****

Heh great comedic timing, This whole video is a classic example of Level headed roommate/ crazy roommate comedy and The story did drag at all and i have to say i liked the voice acting, which is refreshing coming from relatively new artists. The animation was great, the art itself however wasn't too amazing. Some parts were better than others but its apparent that its an evolving style that will get much better as you make more and you WILL make more....

dun dun DUN!

Pretty good!

Voice-acting was good without sounding too cheesy, forced or over-acted. The animation was good. Art was decent. The comedic timing was off just a tad, but for the most part kept pace and kept the laughs coming. I think you're shooting yourself in the foot by trying to give too much method to the madness, though. In other words, you don't have to explain why he needs to get a job, why she needs a job, etc, etc. You're trying to make it seem reasonable and feasible. But for a comedy, it doesn't have to be. Still, two thumbs up. I think what I like most about this is that the female lead hasn't turned into sarcasti-bitch who has to be condescending and insulting about everything. Nor has she devolved into nothing more than walking fan service. She's played out like a real person, and does a fair job of being the "straight man" to the male lead's semi-jokester mentality. The whole Death Race 2000 scene with the crippled kid...wow, I was laughing my ass off. Nice job!

See, this is the kind of constructive criticism I need. Thank you, sir.

But, yes I agree that I spent too much time explaining; I wanted to kind of set up the characters in the first episode before bringing in the surrealist Sam and Max aspects in subsequent installments. Future episodes include: Alpha Centari, Steampunk Victorian London, the 27th dimension, and, of course, Valhalla. The pilot is comparatively tame.
