Reviews for "Bango!"

Yeah i liked up to...

Yeah it was a neat game with interesting mind using challanges. However some times if u were jumping in the air to a block if i even clipped it it would fall wreacking urplans, the time cudes are interesting same with the shooting cubes, uhhh but it was a bit glitchy. It was a good mind teaser but some levels were just plain annoying and the thing that pops up *would u like some help are u stuck?* i got kinda aggravated at that like it was insulting my intelligence. still god game but need to fix teh glitches ^ ^!

A true effort.

Most of what could be said, already has been, and it seems you have been receptive to it. The idea if the game kept my interest through normal mode at least, but it seems it should have stayed in the test phase a little bit longer so some of these issues could be resolved.

Making games isn't easy, and I think most will understand that and give credit where it's due, but expectations are as high as ever these days. My hat's off to you, and I hope possible sequels will be more warmly received for you!

It looks like you're writing a review.

Not bad, if t weren't for that damn "Hey! Do you need a walkthrough!?!" pop-up. Most annoying thing since the paper clip.

Excuse me while I rant

See this is what I hate about video games. They start off with a fun, involving concept that pulls you in. You're enjoying yourself. The game is actually fun.

And THEN... Everything gets so hard, the game becomes intentionally frustrating. They're basically just fucking with you, laughing at you, pointing and saying you can't do it, that you're not smart enough to beat their pathetic little puzzle.

Why can't games just stick with the fun, enjoyable idea? Why do they have to become, not just harder, but coyingly obnoxious? Not challenging, just frustrating?

If the whole game was just the normal levels, I'd would've given it a nine. It would've been a near perfect game. The extra levels are such a pain in the ass, it cuts the rating in half.

RJGames responds:

I think you may be right about difficulty. Sometimes you don't want a challenge, you just want to enjoy the game.

Thanks for your review

Not really that great

It's pretty much the same thing every level, it doesn't take but two tries to figure out what you need to do for any level. The only problem is you've chalked everything full of tedious time jumps. If i want to play a game were i had to push a button at the right time i go through RE4's cut scenes. It's a frustrating and tedious task to preform the same damn jump 8 or nine times in a row. I got all the achievements, your score wasn't that hard to beat.
