Reviews for "Tankmen: Incursion"

what

camera is too dynamic

I have to ask...

Do you play the games you make? Do you try it yourself at all? Because no more than 30 seconds of that insane camera is enough to give one a headache. Couldn't see the map at all which lead to falling into the abyss, couldn't see where enemies came from until they're already upon me, and when they leave it zooms in again leaving you blind to any sort of simple hit'n'runs they decide to dish out. Solution: have an option for the player to have the camera auto-zoom, or possibly just stay zoomed out... forever.
Other than the rather large problem with the camera, the graphics are f-ing out-of-control excellent. The game looks really really sharp. You obviously put some great effort into this. The sound is pretty good as well. The quality of the game alone deserves a good score, with or without the stupid camera.

Good game

everything was top notch

except the camera makes this unplayable.

not bad

i'm not going to tell you that you need to fix the camera. it's fine for me. there's no story, though, and nothing to do once you kill the first few magic robotic flying things. Other than that, it's okay.

Perfect...With some polish

It looked amazing, it sounded great, the gameplay was tried and true. But it had fatal flaws i'm sure many many reviews have already said.

The dynamic cam was a BRILLIANT idea... In theory, it pans towards enemies, so you can keep an eye on them and zooms out to give you more space when you need it... It does that, but it also flicks around like all hell, and when your not jumping and it zooms in, it feels restricted.

As for the arrow aiming, mouse aiming would have made it a lot easier to pick the game up. Nothing else to say on that because I've played many games with aiming systems like that, and this one was no better, or worse than them.

The game worked well too, nothing seemed broken... Except that camera, which again is a lot like games I have played, only in this case it was worse.

Had all the right parts, just wasn't quite done
