Too easy
i put the setting up on hardest and still made it though all the challenges.
and on hardest i beat the computer in 3 moves at regular chess

every one puted big review... Ill just say that I just played in Novice...-just in case- And i found it little bit hard at the final task who were vry hard... but yeah nice
Good job!
On my first try, I checkmated the computer on the 8th move on "moderate". Not the best AI I've seen. But the tasks were fun and hard to figure out, I liked them. Good job on this game, I have to admit that despite I make games and play around with programming, making a chess simulator in Flash is way beyond my knowledge and I was quite impressed. And that filesize, that's pretty cool too.
dissapointments and repeats
i got a link to this game through the daily portal email. it said mate master.... it did not in anyway specify that it was a chess game.
thankfully i do play chess and while many of the scenarios are well done about the same amount seem tired and contrived.
there is also some minor coding issues, such as one rook i noticed that should of been black instead of white (otherwise the king was dead already)
and there is an issue of repeat stages.
all in all a good attempt that could become much better with a little polish and a better name.
disapointing
this game is very dissapointing I ecspected a bit more in the menovares quantaties or a bit more graffic eyecandies I lost my stalion in a cause of that
