Games plays nicely and smoothly. music is nice. Graphics are fun.
Leveling up the weapons..common, but a nice thought.
Leveling up the Knight for all practical purposes, WORTHLESS.
The entire game is just wave after wave of combat, which is fine in some ways , but there's no point to have a leveling system if the enemies are preset. You and your weapons will level up at the same general rate no matter HOW good you are at the game, assuming you're good enough to continue making it to the next wave.
Aside from the premise upon which it's based, there's no story. There's no travel, no sense of ownership in the country you're aiming to defend...just...killing. Which, again, is fine. But the game has other systems incorporated into it that make it seem like the game was 'intended' to be more....and just failed dismally.

For rough entertainment value, it's a good game. I DID enjoy playing it.
Aside from the extremely GOOD playability of it though, the game feels half-assed, thrown together, and not completely thought out. It's a combination of common concepts that dont' clash, but don't mesh cooperatively to enhance gameplay beyond the indivual components.

I play through, enjoy the thumping beats, power up a few weapons...BAM! End of game. Go to this website to START OVER AGAIN.

Seriously. If you're going to put things on newgrounds? PUT THEM ON NEWGROUNDS. Don't make a stripped down version and use NG as a launching ground to bring traffic to your mass game-whore site.

Why would you use sound effects from another game. Why not make your own? Did you know that Blizzard actually has copyrights?

It wiuld have been better had the level with the damn bird things that shoot you wasn't impossible.
