fun, but repetitive
This game lacks variety, and feels like a way to kill time, not play to enjoy the game. Visuals are okay, although lacking on the positives. While the game does offer use of towers, units and the ability to fire your own weapon, none of it gives you a sense of accomplishment - it just feels dry. Oh, and no sound/quality control DOES suck.
so...
+simple gameplay
+different types of defense game styles to choose from (shoot own weapon, use towers or units)
-no music control = repetitive mindkilling bgm
-no quality control (this was not a problem for me, but you have to think about people using older PCs or multitasking)
-repetitive gameplay (it gets old quick. REALLY quick)
-lack of variety in each set of defensive style (only 4 towers?)
-lack of atmosphere (seriously, when I played this game, the visuals just made it seem bland)
so if you decide to make a fourth edition of this game, please consider these suggestions:
>add music/quality control (for obvious reasons)
>variety in maps (you could add map terrain, but even just changing the image would be nice)
>more variety (add more customization for towers and units (2 upgrades for towers just doesn't cut it, especially if you have only 4 different towers); heck, I would like to see factions in this game like dwarfs, elves , humans, etc and their own pros and cons)
>better visuals - this one is really left to the users' tastes. Some like it, but other might hate it. To me, it's too bland.
If you compare this game to other defense games, many things are similar. However, some of the more successful ones have certain outstanding features or different concepts. This game does have a neat concept, but just poorly executed. Polish it up, and it could be much better!
