Reviews for "Flash Empires 3"

Glitchy

The game is good, but runs a bit slow on my computer in later levels. A quality adjustment would be good to add.

Also, if you hit play while switching days it will jump you to the next day. I tried my hardest to work the glitch to see how bad it could get and managed to skip almost 10 days. In sandbox mode I beat it while only defeating about 400 guys.

If it was simply pressing play that did it, the glitch would not be that bad, but when you choose the upgrade screen, it pauses the game, and unpauses when leaving. If you take the opportunity between days to upgrade your stuff you will jump a day, making the game harder for you immediately and decreasing your overall score in the long run. I suggest not making the between days screen paused, just stop the units from advancing, like at the end of the day.

Another thing I wished was there was an Uber Man upgrade for the main turret. With split form and fire arrows added in, I was hoping to three giant flaming Uber Men to be shot every second, but was disappointed. Perhaps for Flash Empires 4?

Overall, not bad, but you lose points for a big, obvious glitch.

ADDICTING

very addicting good job

Decent as a beta, perhaps.

The game lacks a lot of polish. For example, if I pause, then go to the upgrades screen, then back to the build screen, the game unpauses. I can unpause during the splash screen between levels. If I "win" in sandbox mode, all the upgrades I purchased will carry over to the next game I play, even if it's not in sandbox mode (didn't try in real mode).

A few other suggestions:
+Hot Keys
+Rather than having to click and drag cannoneers/archers, I should just be able to click that section of the wall to purchase them. Alternatively, hot keys.
+Healing of some sort. Purchasing ground units just didn't seem worth it. A PacMan is never capable of killing $350 worth of enemies, even if you put all your money into upgrading them.
+Attack indication. If an attack makes contact, how about a little blood splatter, or some other visual indicator?

That's all I could think of from the polishing front. All in all, a decent game for a game with no depth.

very nice game but...

I liked the game and the sandbox is pretty cool but it glitched affter the first wave and my kills and cash rose w/o me doing anything.

too hard

its way to hard you should increse the money you gain from enemies but the sandbox mode is alot of fun!
