I don't quite agree about the need to have an ending screen for us to know what happened to her, but I can only surmise that it was a happy ending.
I got stuck from level 25 onwards, I really loved the red herrings in the later levels, specifically level 29. It really made a fool of me!
Atmosphere was downright creepy, the figures, the heartbeat that went crazy occasionally, and I loved the changes in the music as she got closer to waking up.
This is an interesting look into the difficulties patients in a coma or other sort of states (those not essentially brain dead) have in 'fighting for their soul/sanity/to live' . Thanks for having me kill a couple of free hours in favour of a brainteaser rather than some mindless other thing I might be doing. *thumbs up*

finally finished after several weeks...
mostly because i couldn't play through more than one or two levels without starting to cry from depression :P
This game has such a brilliant and unique concept and the most immersive environment i've seen in a flash game.
But there's something evil lurking in the depths of this game that eats away at your soul and nibbles endlessly at your sense of well being until you can do no more than collapse in a pool of your own sweat, tears and blood and wallow in an eternal pit of self misery.
But who of us can claim we are not gluttons for punishment.
Great game
one of the best, if not the best puzzle game in newgrounds. however i have a few complaints, level 25 was by far the hardest level, there is no reward for finishing the game, im not sure if she gave up and died or lived. however after it returns you to level 1 i noticed the car, which i didnt the first time. it needs somee sort of cut screen or ending movie
