Great

great game, some parts are a little too hard but i guess they're there to keep you playing ;) great game keep it up.

O.O

very creepy and amazing, this is a succesfull scary game

One of the better games on NG...

But I've been stumped on level 10 for hours. Here's some of what I've tried with the same result of falling into the black:
Putting the Black light in different places.
Chasing the light after quickly switching them in that post-thing.
Using the black light in the pillar (which was a really stupid mistake)
What the hell am I missing?

So good on so many levels

- It saves progress
- The art was grimy and unorthodox which was a very refreshing thing
- The music was ambient enough not to be annoying
- The puzzle aspect was well thought out and no solution felt like a tedious repeat of the previous mission.
- There was a creepy scare factor to the game. When I messed up and fell into the darkness I kind of felt the horror. No light! The darkness takes me!
- The subtle sound effects of walking, unlocking doors, picking up or dropping things all fit right in and didn't sound canned.
-The game had the right pacing. There was a good balance between quick reaction and thoughtful puzzle solving.

All these points make for a good game that, even when difficult, makes you come back for more.

I finally beat it! I'm so proud of myself~

Hard enough for a nice challenge, but definitely possible to beat with a lot of patience and brain work. This was an awesome new kind of puzzle, very creative for sure. Trying to escape death by lighting the way.. Sooo creepy especially towards the end; I loved it!

I don't know what it is about the simple, contrasting, monochrome drawings, but it really set the perfect atmosphere. I also very much like that the music gets louder as you approach some of the writings or as you get closer to solving the puzzle. Though I have no idea if that's true, it helped nonetheless. :D

The only thing that bugs me is the gimpy jumping. If you're on a slope, sometimes it won't let you jump because you're in mid-air for a fraction of a second. That caused a lot of frustration for me but I eventually got used to it. A menu button would be nice too; unless I missed it somewhere in the 'instructions'.

Aside from that, an amazing game!
