absolutely superb animation, the voice acting right on, the music went with it wonderfully, and the story line is great. i have to say,this is the best flash ive seen yet, looking forward to the next one.

The characters were well drawn, the edits were logical, the sound was the right volume and the pacing was good. Those are some basic (but difficult) things you need for the minimum amount of polish. However Escape from Nevara 1 goes far above and beyond the basic! The animation is smooth and the story is compelling.
If I were to make a complaint I would say that the sound quality of the voice acting is at odds with the professionalism of the picture, as well as the good use of the other sounds. However the piece is so good that I feel compelled to give you 10 out of 10 regardless.
This is a very attractive short! You must tell us what you used to make it. Surely not just Flash alone...?
