Reviews for "EFN Episode 1: Lies"

We Got Us an Artist

Your art is amazing, nothing to say against that. The servo/module noises when he moved his arms and such were a nice touch that gave it a little more life.

HOWEVER. And it only looks like a bit however, it's not really, detracted just a point for it:
I've seen this sort of thing before. Not nearly as much as some other concepts, but this reflected a part from the Buu saga in Dragonball Z where they're struggling through Buu's body and Buu has to turn his focus inside himself to deal with them. He's even perched in the open like Black Ace/Spoiler is in this.

I would have clipped two points for what felt awkwardly like a recycled idea, but you got that point back in a few good ways:
1) You made it exciting.
2) It didn't even take one half-hour chunk. The DBZ one took about 10 episodes to go through (that doesn't shock anybody, it really shouldn't) and yours took 5 minutes. I salute you.

All in all, if only for the beautiful action and art, I really want to see you progress in the new OCT. 5/5, 9/10.

P.S... you got pitted against Chimbley before? Nice.

Pretty Cool ^^

I've never seen this stuff before, But it looks like its worth getting into, very interesting very unique, Keep up the great work ^^ :D >:3

Amazing.

I actually felt like I was watching a professional level TV show. The animation quality and new camera angles kept the entire movie interesting and fresh.

This is definitely one of the best overall quality flash vids I have ever seen. Keep up the impressive work!

Wow

I was amazed... There were just a few parts that were not as finely detailed, for example when he's fighting the jaws in his mind, but that is of course relative to the whole quality. I'm looking forward to the new installments.

P.S. I loved the voice acting and all but... try and get more voice actors and/or try and change the voices a little more.

Hmm..

Here's the thing: The art was absolutely fantastic, and the voice acting was technically well done.. but I couldn't get into it. The only thing that compelled me to watch on was the art itself. The sound quality made the voices sound distant, which took away from the dramatic effect, and the storyline itself was pretty vague. I just don't like the way it was executed. However, I'm going to have to rate this an overall 5/5 for the animation itself. Everything was perfectly and professionally executed! That much of this was flawless, and I loved every moment of the art.
