it may have not been the best out there but what can you expect for a free game. I did like the story though and hope that you will continue it. Thanks I enjoyed it and would like to see it continue. Keep up the good work guy!

Good game, but
I like the story and it was good, but the game was sooo freaking tedious because of that maze... also some of the stuff like using the chicken wasn't so obvious...

As others have said the art was all very nice, the voice acting and over all style all good. The programming seemed to work as intended as well, which runs us into the problem I had with the game.
Scrolling through the different actions was annoying for me, a more click happy interface would have been superior I think here. Something that was always in look mode but when you clicked it gave you more icons to click on in a mini window. I don't know something about having to switch icons to walk was really bothersome to me.
Aside from that it was a fun game, the puzzles were all ok but a bit odd, I for one couldn't see the jar right at the beginning for some reason which added a bit of frustration. I figured out the rest pretty fast, but I must say melting gum off the axe had me scratching my head after it worked.

What can I say...
To be honest, I'm a little bit dissapointed. Since most of the reviewers liked it, you'll probably ignore me but still...
But don't get me wrong, I can see a lot of work put into the game and I always appreciate that. It has bright, somewhat eye-relaxing and detailed art. The music and sounds were decent. The voice acting was fine...
But the whole of Griswold needs some serious touch I think. I mean like, tell us more about the universe! Expand it! Try to make your world unique! Because at the moment, it looks like a very cliche fairy tail with a very cliche goblin as the protagonist.
Take a look at Leafworthy's 'Khale' for instance. Although it is a movie, look how much work was put in every deatail of enviroment, and how much we know about the world the main hero lives in from just 2 episodes and a trailer.
Keep improving! I'll definitely keep an eye out for future chapters! Good luck to ya mates!

Thats coming in later games. We didn't want to use all our material in just one chapter. The next game will reveal a whole lot more about the plot. The world that Griswold lives in and reveal more about Griswold himself. This game was just something small and simple to introduce people to the world I suppose. We could have put a lot more detail in but we sorta ran out of time/inspiration. Next game promises to be greatly improved :) thanks for the review
