What the hell

Levels are pretty damn hard. Not impossible at all, just challenging, but when you get to the end of the second level and the boss appears, then it starts sucking hard. First thing it does is smash you. If you don't expect it, you're screwed and have to redo the whole level. That's bullshit.

Another problem is that your ships have no differentiation. Is one faster? Slower? More armor? Stronger weapons? The only difference as far as I can tell is that the ship with the Twin Laser is useful and the others suck.

This game has too much uselessness to be good.

Also, where is the bomb count?... Where do you get more?

Neat-o up until the lame lava level

As a game it's alright. As a shamless rehash of Tyrian sprites it gets you an F for effort. I got to the boss that is apparently a robot living in a big rock, he launched forward at an angle toward me and I died. Might want to think about allowing the gamer to purchase a speed upgrade inbetween levels, or perhaps have the boss look the direction he's about to charge. Other than that, almost as good as Tyrian.

Good graphics but...

Boring, a bit monotonous, and your ships weapons and engines are so weak it took me eight shots to destroy fighters on the first level, and I could barely dodge have their shots.

I have to say...

It's not a bad game & not a great game & "Steel Dandelion" is a ridiculous name for a fighter space ship.

I know its not fair but

You really have to use your first level to hook new players in.

And it didn't do it for me. I only got as far as the first level, which was slow and dull and unexciting. Scrolling shooters should be fast and difficult, man, not slow and plodding. If I'm not dodging a million projectiles and trying desperately to shoot back, then it's not a good shoot em up game, and this wasn't a good shoot em up game.
