The graphics were bad. I'm not talking about the "classic instructional video" feel, I'm talking about the poorly-drawn sticks and horrible backgrounds. The lazy-ass animation didn't help out either, at some points I felt like watching a slideshow.
Just because it's supposed to be an old video, doesn't mean it has to be put absolutely NO effort into.
The writing was poor. None of the jokes (were there even punchlines? I must have missed them!) were original, except for the Wi-Fi Shirt thing which could have been explored way better. The ending was just awful, too, without any real joke or twist or anything.
Point being: don't try to do something good in less than three hours. Making good stuff takes time. Don't complain when people like me criticize you like this - it's not like you won't get way more positive reviews than negative ones, anyway.
