Oldbie here... It is good .. but..
I hate to break it to you, but 1337 is being misrepresented here mildly.
You might be 1337 if you:
A.) Find yourself speaking in 1337 during every day conversations. (For example, telling your Dad that the Thanksgiving dinner pwned)
B.) Find yourself exclaiming W00T! out of excitement!
C.) Can appreciate earlier dialects of 1337sp33k like my native 1998 (Graal/IRC) dialect.
D.) Understand quite well how to hax0r w/N0t3p4d
E.) You get excited to hear old amiga/C64 chiptunes going mainstream, but a little sad that they are as well because you know those plebians are just a bunch of lamer n00bs who don't deserve such majestic sound bytes.
To be continued, please feel free to add on to my observation.
On a side note, one should remember terms such as r0flc0pt3r and l0ll3rsk8z are relatively new words in the 1337 vocabulary and should definitely not be a requirement to conform to 1337h00d.
