I completely understand his addiction to Fallout 3. It was a awesome video game, try being addicted to it when you have university mid-terms, not the easiest. Never got so bad that I drank out of the toilet even if I may of thought about it a couple of times.
I was in the same situation - all my midterms and midterm projects were coming up and going on and I still managed to play the game and get them done.
Also, I've thought about drinking out of the toilet on more than one occasion, only to tell myself that I'm not actually in the game and that it's a terrible idea.

fallout 3 is the crack of gaming.
My friend just rented the thing and here I am having school tomorrow playing the game at 1:36A.M so horrible. but luckly I took the brave step and shut the game off to write this review on such a great movie.
When I saw the loading screen I thought this was going to be like your COD4 movie where the characters are in game but this was just as good becuase it covered alot of video games even thought the focus was on Fallout 3. I really can't wait for your next submission.
But here is the thing that gets me I thought the guy just pissed in the toilet not acutualy drink the water. but ehh I could be wrong XD
Yeah, far too many nights spent up till 3am playing that game, schoolnight or not...
I like parodies like my CoD4 one, but I like to get more characterization in with my own cast, rather than some anonymous video game avatars or someone else's characters. You are right in that the flash is about the addictive nature of games in general, but no game has been as addictive as Fallout 3 has been for me.
And nope, he's drinking out of that toilet. Pretty gross, but that's part of the joke!

A legendary idea of how someone gets that badly addicted to a game, that they play it to destruction and beyond. I think my brother was worse than that at one point - he used to come to the table for one meal a day and that was only because Mum forced him to get off World of Warcraft for a short while.
I almost expected SRM to walk out of the Gamestore with the till still under his arm, but no, you took it one step more sublime - the shotgun to the computer. Yet another mighty step towards further progress with your work. Careful though, as I noticed that Mel's jaw seems to have an imperfection in it , near where you have it hinged. Iron that out from the animation standpoint and you're looking very good.
Another solid performance that earns you another award. You're getting quite a collection of them :)

I just got New Vegas a few weeks ago and I'm feeling it kick in again already!
I base most of my cartoons on something I've either experienced or seen, and this is no exception. Write what you know, right? The shotgun to the computer was just taking a joke one step further into more cartoonish territory, which I'm glad I did.
As for Mel's jaw, I don't think I ever noticed. It used to happen sometimes when I hyperextended their jaws back in the symbol-using days like this. If you look back at SRM and Wuggeh, I actually painted over every frame that this happened in, which back then was like all of them. Since it was all gradients it was really, really noticeable.
Glad you liked this toon! Unfortunately it was one of the last cartoons I made to get real attention here at Newgrounds.

If this is what has become of the the gaming world i weep. firstly fallout was butchered, butchered I say! Danm you bethsoft, your engine sucked to start with, then you had to take one of histories most break away games, and turn it into another clone!!
as for the movie, i kinda liked it in an awkward john pauls kind of way. It had more of a plot then most of the garbage here ever seems to. though the imorphalit characters seemed a bit uninspired. all in all its still just another movie.
I loved Fallout 3 - I'm a big fan of Black Isle Studios, who made the first Fallout games and the Baldur's Gate games. I think it's pretty possible to enjoy both.
I don't quite understand what you said about my movie. I've never heard the term "imorphalit" and Google turned up nothing. Then again, it could just be a typo that I missed because I just woke up.
Even if you weren't a big fan of the character designs, it's good to hear you still enjoyed it.

This video was really funny and had some great parts! I really like the way that Mel gets PROPER addicted and starts drinking out of the toilet (even though wouldnt that give him radiation XD)!
I think that maybe it could of had some more funnier parts, and had been a bit longer, but you put a lot of work into it, so it is still amazing!
Overall, a 8 of 10!
I think you're one of the few people who actually thought it wasn't long enough - I really wish I actually tidied up and tightened the 3 and a half minutes up to 3 or less.
And of course you can get radiation from the toilet! If it happens in Fallout, it must happen in real life!
