Good!

Loved the music, rather good 3d effects (for flash ^^) and wasn't too hard (only died once, with the pipe cleaner)

awsome

that felt like i was playing a old video game on my nintendo 64
genius

:)High praise - thank you. Banjo Tooie was the N64 game that had me up all night

OMG please dont

Other than it running fairly smoothly, leave the 3d to the bigwigs... otherwise it's just horribly pixelated.

popopt responds:

most early 3d games were too. Its easy to forget that todays mega textures, antiualiasing etc havent been around forever, and the game needed to make concessions to keep frame rates high. As base computer specs increase and flash develops, the quality of the textures and effects we can use will improve. Even the big wigs werent big wigs at some point;)

Good

Somewhat rought controls, but still, very impressive for a flash game

A difficult sell for me.

I appreciate the difficulty of the 3-d environments, and the inclusion of a half-decent storyline, and I liked the music...but...

You made a fps. I would sacrifice all the graphics, all of the plot, and all of the 'extras' for a tight reliable control set.

Turning up sensitivity meant turning around was a challenge. Leaving sensitivity low meant that is was a chore.

Strafing should never suddenly stop working. It is the primary, of not only, dodge effect in the game. edges of platforms would also snag the char.

The flying guard robot. Cool...nearly impossible if the shooter did not take out the bottom orb first. The rotating panels cover it almost constantly.

The pipe cleaner...MEH. Easily remedied however. Taking out an orb would set it back to its original distance. This would give the shooter a real chance to take out all of the orbs.

Points for the extras.

Cheers

Brilliant idea about the pipecleaner - i was wondering what a good fix would be without destroying the experience for the people who do get by it. I know its a stumbling block for some so it will help people through. Thanks for the great idea.
