The duelies are actually far more useful than any of the previous upgrdes, all you need to remember is that the duelies can kill the badguys BEFORE they get close enough to hit you. you just have to be good enough to clear away the clones that get near you immediately following getting the duelies. Good strategy: right before you think youare about to get the duelies, drop a grenade or two. then, aim for the heads, and youre golden! I managed to get the bar to fly up off the screen! I was in space!!! WOOOO!!! then zombie clones ate me and i died. :(
