Psy, I've been a fan ever since I've found out about newgrounds. Your pure genius. This was an awesome movie, and great for that contest. You and Jon would be a close, tough call in my book. I hope you make more awesome movies, and I hope to see Awesome Guy more.

I've never seen mario any better and the music made it even better, but i did want to know how the shell monster lived for that long in the game? Oh Well, props.

A high-end sprite animation
I think the thing that stood out to me most... is the acrobatics that Mario had. I've really never seen his sprites used like that, and thus, kudos.

There's going to be some tard who's not going to be able to put two-and-two together and will rail on you for "copying" the other mario chase sequence. When that happens, flame his ass off for me, will you?
In the meantime, I think this one has a better manipulation of sprites, angles, and more unique sequences, but the other one had a better sense of timing and fitting with the song.
Of course, that's a pretty unfair stake to make, since the other one's been on here longer and I probably have grown biased. If I were seeing each one for the first time, I would probably choose your own. :)
