I have to say i'm not a real fan of ambient drum and bass either. I usually think of it as a weak version of the proper dirty DnB, but I thought i'd give it a go. Thanks for the comments mate!
I forgot I even had this open.
I went roaming around the site in another browser and totally forgot about this window. That's a compliment. This is a fantastic song. You may not prefer this style, but, you got to admit, you're good at making it.
Thanks very much for the comment JasoNHaSJokeS. I do still like the more ambient styles of drum and bass, but I guess I find the harder stuff much more challenging to get sounding good. I'm really glad you enjoyed it and even more pleased that you think i'm good at making it.
Thanks again for taking the time to review, James
!!!!
KICK ASS!!! :D the song sound like a sopng from UT!
w00t is your inspiration dude?
Ahh cheers man. Someone else thought this reminded them of Zelda and now UT (which i'm guessing is unreal tournament?) I'm really not sure what my inspiration for this was... I guess I just wanted to try some more chilled than my usual drum and bass attempts.
Thanks for reviewing man, comments are always welcome.
James
wow
Nice man very mellow i loved when the drums kick in!!
Cheers man, i'm glad you enjoyed it.
YES!!!!
This is great, really it is. I think ou should of added some sort of really uplifting flutes or harmony or something besides the drums though and this would sound even better!
Yet again, try listening to my songs =)
Thanks for the review man. This is actually one of my own compositions as opposed to that linkin park one, lol. Cheers for the advice, i've still got the original file of this so I'll try adding some other instruments and see how it sounds. Thanks again man,
James
