I likes it.

You've improved your flashmaking skills enough to make it much faster and more fluid during the opponents card sequences. Thats noticable.
Extra additions to cards are also nice touches.

Though the one thing that bothers me, and no offence to the artist is the new artwork for the cards. The old art from the first game captured the cthulhu feel just perfect. Dark, wierd and incomprehensilbe when showing the beasts, but vivid enough to show whats there.
This new art appears too comic-bookish and cartooney.

The music is one of the saving graces to capture the mood and something I think should be kept in any future updates.

Keep up the good work though.

As always, loving the game...though I noticed something, is this a bug or on purpose? I was 3 ranks above my opponent (I was Rank 17, he was Rank 14), yet I had the same life max (100) and yet I had LESS starting Sanity, and infact, I think they were my starting amounts on the previous fight as well... wouldn't that stuff be going up as I increased in rank?

I capped the life at 100 because it just would be too high. Though a suggestion was to increase it by smaller amounts after that point. From rank 20 onwards your starting arcane increases instead by 1 per rank so you will gain a benefit there.

Also, the sanity doesnt change with rank - sanity is always 25 + a random number between 1 and 10. So anywhere between 26 and 35. You could have higher or lower each game.

I played the last one and even the they seem pretty much the same the improvements aren't hard to see. good job.

Anyways, great game. The only problem is that it get repetitive after a while, but that's only if you play for an hour or so.
