actually, this turned out to be a very good game, i got hooked by the second match lol. nicely put together, but the whole luck thing kept getting me irritated. keep up the good work!

i just dont level up. why do i need so many summon cards? why do i always have healing cards? =(
whereas they just do loadsa damage. i still win long run. but i just get sod all points for it all.
so aftera few games of taking it in my stride =)... they have like 30 more hp than me and it just hurts me inside.

I think Lovecraft would be proud.
The graphics were well rendered. The provided a sinister mood without the use of gore, which is something many game and movie developers seem unable to do.
Gameplay is challenging but not overly difficult. It seemed that some battles revolved more around luck of the draw than skill. While it was often posable to use the card I was dealt in a strategic way, I would occasionally find myself stuck with useless card such as Powder of Ibn-Ghazi in duplicate. They had no real discard value and became a major hinderance if I became agoraphobic. A deck editor could help to remedy this problem. Other than that I have no real criticism.

This was actually pretty good...
It kept me hooked, for sure. And I´m a pretty diehard fan of the whole Lovecraftian thing, so I understood most of the cards.
Things had certainly improved from the last one, Taint raping is now possible without Megalomania, the new cards look smashing, and Challenge mode is a nice addition.
Although sadly, the fights tend to go a bit slow at times when you can´t draw a damage card. Or when you´re schizophrenic and only have summon cards at hand.
But then, you´re playing a very well made Lovecraftian(-ish) card game, so that´s forgiven. :D/-K
