Flawed

Too crowded and not enough hammers in the later levels with the flawed gems. Game is kinda boring, but I guess it's OK...

props for ingenuity

but this is honestly the most frustrating puzzle game i've ever played.
because once you get to a point, it'll tell you that you have "no moves left"
yeah well..what if i can use my hammer to free up some space?

its like every level has a script that you HAVE to adhere to or you lose.
kind of wish it was more open, spontaneous, and easier to play.

very nice

great gaem, extremely challenging.I dont get the point of building your empire though, and it needs a continue option, the first levels are easy and boring, once it gets hard and you fail you have to start at the beginning again, and if you run out of moves you should still be able to use your hammer before it clears the board, and maybe make it where you can buy more bonus tools(i.e. hammers and time) with your maoney instead of worthless buildings and helicopters
great effort though
keep em comin

Annoyances weigh it down.

"No moves left" penalty comes before you can use the hammer.. what's the point of the hammer if you can't use it to free up moves then? The AI's automatic choices for gems to combine (if there are more than one possibilities) are often bad, making it frustrating when it's not your playing, but the computer's, that screws your positioning over.

Disappointed in the end

This game was going really great until I got to level 9. I lost, horribly. 10 red gems I had to get. I felt it was a bit harsh of a task, but I tried again. And again. And again. Each time trying from level 1 again.

In the end, I deduced that amongst the 5 gems in that level, they respawn pefectly randomly. You need 8 gems to form the biggest and make it disappear. This means I required 80 gems (for the reds alone) over roughly 1200 seconds. (lets say 1600 on the offchance i get 4 time power ups and DONT lose any 'lives', which is beyond fair) . This means that just for the red gems, I would need 400 gems to statistically give myself a chance of getting 80 reds. This means I need to be busting gems at a rate of 1 big gem (containing 8 in total) every 32 seconds. This is all assuming I am the perfect player and dont make mistakes (which obviously I do). Personally, that's a bit harsh. And I haven't taken into account the other gems I need to do, actually bursting the red gems themselves, and getting around the unmovable ones, which make it even harder at first. All the hammers tend to go towards getting rid of them.

I simply couldn't complete that level no matter how well I played. It is exponentially harder than the previous 8 and I don't think that's intentional. I highly suggest changing the programming or making that level a bit lighter on the reds. If you were to transfer 4 reds evenly amongst the other colours I believe it would be hard, but not stupidly hard.

I actually created this account to tell you this and I know that is very sad but it was unfathomably annoying. What annoys me more is there wasn't much thought put into this level yet there was clearly lots of thought put elsewhere. It is a shame.

But I'm not unreasonable, everything else was great, so I give it a 6. I didn't experience over half of the game unfortunately, so can't give you more than that. I hope you will appreciate that I put my thought into the review instead of just complaining aimlessly like I see so many people doing.

On everything else, very well done.
