This was AMAZING!!! You need to try to get this on tv, its actually funnier and more thought provoking than most shows out there today. Your animation skills are right up there with the best of them and i seriously think you have a shot at making it big with this cartoon or anything else you make with such a level of quality and detail. All the voices fit extremely well, and all your jokes were fresh and new. Do us all a favor and pitch this to a network. It has way too much potential to be watched by only us Newgrounders, and i know a bazillion little materialistic bitches that could benefit from this lesson alone. Keep up the excellent work!
As humorous as that was
the moral is very true. Our appreciation for technology doesn't advance as fast as technology itself. We "ooh" & "ahh" over new gadgets today like their mana from heaven, just to chuck them out like moldy leftovers tomorrow. We're never going to truly appreciate advancements like robots, AI, etc unless they come with their own attitude to keep our ego's in check. (Not that I want my Roomba telling me it'll vaccuum when IT'S damn well good and ready, though...)
Nice flash. I laughed a lot and almost cried when the old phone died. The over-exagerated characters (Mindy especially) really harkenned back to the days of Screwy Squirrel and Bugs Bunny. You just can't get good quality cartoons like this on TV anymore.
