Ok that kicked ass!

So yeah, I thought this was a really good anime style intro. I think the music was great and the pacing in the animation was done well. The walk cycles looked a little weird at first, but that went away quickly. I also like the style you're using for this. This is easily a breath of fresh air man, it really is nice looking at other people's work and seeing some form of creativity and thought instead of seeing a week's worth of crap drawing and obvious/not funny jokes. I really am looking forward to seeing this series.

Also thank you, I've taken a few days off from animating and this just inspired me to go back at it again. This weekend I was an adrenaline hog with animating and got so much done in a short amount of time and with this revamp of inspiration I should probably be able to get back into it.

Once again really nice work. I don't think the guy 2 below has seen some animes before because there are really no anime intros that give background info. That's the point of the actual episode. So once again really well done and can't wait for you to get started.

okay effects, bad intro

Never mind the terrible walk cycles and the fact that you didn't make these characters, but you really missed out on something.

You say that you've built up a back story and a purpose for all these characters to come together, but it's not reflected at all in this intro. As a viewer, I'm not given any clue as to how these different universes are brought together, or WHY these characters are together, or what force they're working against. You're introducing a bunch of characters but I'm not getting a sense for them at all since all you're giving me is their name and how awkwardly they walk. This "intro" would be so much better if you actually worked in the story into the introduction to set the mood of the future cartoons.

Also, let's say I have no clue who the characters are. How do I know who's good and who's bad, especially in the ending fight sequence? Who am I rooting for?

Timing wise, this dragged on way too long. I expect your actual cartoons to be at least half an hour long if you're going to make the intro 3 minutes.

Watch the opening credits for Spider Man 2 and watch how the guys at Imaginary Forces recap the story of the first movie and how they introduce each character.

If anything, the effects and the designs you made here work for you, but that's about it.
