As others mentionned the sparse story piques the curiosity but also makes it so it lacks substance. Adding just one or two smaaal bits of informations would create enough atmosphere without giving away too much. (Use contraction in your dialogue: no one says "I am" to a girlfriend)
No one mentioned the soundtrack being too scratchy..I doubt the problem is on my end...maybe you should correct this.
Otherwise it is very poignant.

Eventually I may fix the soundtrack, I had noticed the problem too but wasn't sure if it would be worth going through the trouble of redoing it. I thought no one would have it up loud enough to notice! *S*
