Reviews for "Greg's Officemax Freakout"

good, but..

it was really funny, but the voice syncing started rapidly deteriorating in quality near the ending.

chrisjulian0 responds:

Yeah I know.... That's the one thing I'm really disappointed about regarding this cartoon. I'm working on tightening up the syncing quality for the next installment. Thanks for the feedback.

Awesome

Ha Ha. Hell yeah

Hahaha, Awesome

Ok, so I'd just like to state a couple of things. One, I've been on both sides of that argument before. I've been in retail for a few years, and everywhere I've worked has always held the view that if a price is marked wrong, it is the store's fault, and the customer gets that price, but the price is fixed immediately afterwards. (This is actually a legal thing since the law requires a company honor all posted and advertised sales.) So, he was absolutely right to get pissed off. I do agree with the associate that customers who pick something up and don't put it back IN THE RIGHT SPOT, or at the very least leave it at the register, are a-holes. If you put something in the wrong spot, companies don't honor the price, and other customers get screwed by your laziness. However, it was over the top for the employee to actually point that out to the customer, and he really shouldn't be working in retail with that kind of attitude. I do have to say, though, this isn't the first horror story that I've heard about OfficeMax's poor customer service. I've been working at a certain competitor of theirs, and we're literally about a hundred yards apart, so every time they piss someone off, we hear about it (and it happens a lot). So for future reference, from my experience, even wally world gives better customer service than them. (And no, that's not where I work, I'm not going to state where I work because these are personal views and nothing to do with my company).

In short, awesome vid, and he had every right to get mad that the company was unable to price their product appropriately.

WTH?

Where is this store? I have never seen a business that didn't honor the marked price. That is f-ing ridiculous. I would have lost it too. They would've had to honor the marked price, or have me removed in cuffs. Thanks for making this flash, and showing business what NOT to do.

wow

Something we can all relate to that isn't sexual or violent. I never had a problem with Office Max, but for me Target is the worst at misleading prices. Sometimes I think that they do it on purpose to mislead imperceptive customers into paying higher prices. Working in retail, I know that this is probably what pisses off customers the most, misleading price tags.
