Same thing has happened to me.

I was in a WalMart and in the flyer the jacket was 49.99, ht eprice tag above and on the jacket was 49.99. I go to the cashier to ring it up and it pops up 89.99. So I calmly explain what the price is and show them the flyer, and they kept refusing to sell em the jacket for the price. And this was a damn warm winter jacket. So kept telling them the price, dragged the lady over to the price taged jackets, and she says "oh this is the wrong price". I lost it, its in the fucking flyer man, for around the world or at least Canada. Oh well, customer service sucks nowadays. Good animation by the way LOL

Damn... All these stories are unbelievable. It's amazing to me that a business would allow it's employees to behave like asshats, and create this type of reputation.

I was once at a fabric store with my mom (I was dragged along). The fabric she wanted was three pieces of the same kind of fabric and two other kinds all cut at the same length. She got the other two cut no problem, but when the three pieces of the same fabric came up, the employee wouldn't cut them. "We don't do custom cutting." they said. But you bring ANY fabric up to the counter and they will cut it once, but they will NOT cut the same fabric twice. Well my mom was furious, she almost had me vandalize their store. She left without making a purchase but wrote a very long letter to the manager. The manager wrote back an apology and along with it a seventy dollar gift card. As long as it ended well I guess.

That was really good! Was this based on a true story? If I had that happen to me TWICE, I would probably get mad too! I really think every store should make sure that they put their prices on their products, instead of on the counter.
