DutchinLive responds:

Yeah, working on it, going to improve it for the next part for sure! Stay tuned!

Awesome!

Sure, the acting is a tad cheesy, but the animation is sweet!

DutchinLive responds:

Yeah, I missed the mark a bit with the voice acting, will work on it! Thanks for taking the time to review!

awesome

that finishing move at the end there very cool
now just develop the plot well and keep up with the action, and you will have one hell of a series

DutchinLive responds:

The plot is going to be killer, trust me, you will love it, thanks for the review, cheers!

Kinda Cool

I liked how it was 3D but the when you used your own voice with a crappy microphone, it kinda ruined the beginning. Also i dont really a tiny ship like that being so strong, you kinda made him stronger than he should be and made it unrealistic.

DutchinLive responds:

I can understand what you mean about the microphone, the ship wasn't overly strong, there was just more emphasis on the pilot's skills, the spherical turrets were designed to take down smaller ships, but fire a quicker, weaker blast than the forward guns on the small fighter. The larger one, the destroyer was more suited to directional fighting and thought that getting the jump on the smaller ship would have resulted in a fatal blow, but since he cocked it up and didn't have the agility to back up his initial punch, the fighter stayed out of the way of the forward turrets and dodged the lighter fire from the turrets, only taking a few hits.

Hope this helps, thanks for the review mate. :)

Wow, that was, uh...

Boring. Looks nice, but very very very dull.
The voice acting sounded pretty un-enthusiastic, and nothing about it really seemed dynamic.
Even the gun fightin' was pretty pedestrian as the direction is quite detached.

Not to mention the *yawn* whatever story that sounds exactly like just about every other sci-fi ever made. Though maybe marginally better than the other uninspired such and such that comes out of your average mid-teen newgrounder.
And the ship design had no style or creativity, which is always a bit of a detractor when it comes to these sort of eye-candy movies.

Ahwell, good technical work.

DutchinLive responds:

Thanks for taking the time to write the review. Making the ships was an enjoyable process, I tried a few different styles, and found that these suited me, dull and boring they may be, but their design is tied in with the story. The story itself is quite deep, the fact is this was a few minutes worth of skirmish in a much larger frame. I don't really know how you can liken it to 'just about every other sci-fi ever made' since the sci-fi genre is so diverse, this could be taken as a compliment.

Keep an eye on me, and I promise I will deliver you more of what you are after in the next installment.
